Meet The Artists
Ying Li, pianist  [first prize]

Born in China, Ying Li began her piano studies at age of five. At age of nine, she moved to Beijing to study at The Middle School Affiliated to The Central Conservatory of Music. Ying received the First Prize Winner in the junior group of the 2010 7th Liszt International Competition in Moscow, Russia; and was invited by the pianists Olga Kern and Enrica Ciccarelli to give concerts in Milan and Como, Italy. She also received The Special Talent Prize at the 20th International Piano Concerto Competition in Cantu, Italy, as well as the First Prize of the 7th International Competition for Young Pianists in St. Petersburg, Russia. Ying is currently studying with Seymour Lipkin at The Curtis Institute of Music.
