傅聰國際協奏曲比賽 2023 concerto competition winner
Pianist Che Li just won the first
prize of the “Piano Masters” category at Tkaczewski International
Piano Competition in Poland on July 25th, 2024.

Pianist
Che Li, a native of Zhejiang, China, has been an active performer in
both the United States and China. In 2016, he performed the Grieg
Piano Concerto with the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra in Shanghai
(China). In 2019, he performed Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 2 with
the Santa Monica Symphony Orchestra at the Colburn Conservatory of
Music in Los Angeles, California. In 2023, Che Li performed the
Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No.1 with the Mercury Orchestra at the
New England Conservatory (Boston, Massachusetts). He has appeared as
solo recitalist at the Wenzhou (China) University School of Music,
at the Cadillac Shanghai Concert Hall in Shanghai (China), at the
Hefei (China) Grand Theater—as part of the “Yangtze River Delta New
Shining Stars” series.
Che Li is recently declared prize winner of the 2024 XV Chopin Piano
Competition in Hartford. In 2023, he won the first place in Fou
Ts’ong International Concerto Competition. He won the first place in
the National Youth Piano Open Competition at Shanghai Conservatory
of Music and second place in the German Grotrian Competition in
China. He is also a prize winner of numerous other competitions
including the Irmler International Piano Competition in Qingdao,
China, the Xinghai National Piano Competition, and the Shenzhen
Piano Competition. He has participated in a number of piano
festivals, including PianoTexas International Festival and Academy
(Fort Worth, Texas), PianoSummer (New Paltz, New York), and the
Cleveland International Music Festival (Cleveland, Ohio).
Che Li began piano studies at the age of four, taught by his mother.
At age 12, he was accepted into the Shanghai Conservatory of Music,
where he studied with Professor Yunlin Yang. He is a recent (2023)
graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music where he studied
with HaeSun Paik and obtained a bachelor of music in Piano
Performance. He is now pursuing a master’s degree with Alexander
Korsantia at the New England Conservatory. He has participated in
masterclasses with esteemed pedagogues including Yoheved Kaplansky,
Hung-Kuan Chen, and Jerome Lowenthal.
