Tracy McGinnis, bassoon Tracy McGinnis, bassoonist, is a native of Delaware and began studying the bassoon as a freshman in high school. She attended the University of Delaware and the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, MA. Ms. McGinnis spent several years abroad performing with orchestras in South Africa and Israel. Locally, she is principal bassoon with the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra in New London, CT, and freelances with such groups as Boston Ballet, Boston Lyric Opera, and the Plymouth Philharmonic, and is on the adjunct music faculty of Wellesley College.
