The 30th Annual All-American Chinese
Brush Painting and Calligraphy Competition
Sponsored and Organized by the Foundation for Chinese Performing Arts

Winners’ List 2021
_________________________

Due to pandemic, the deadline of this year's competition was delayed to June 15, 2021. Many schools and art studios were closed, but we still received about one-third entries compared with the previous years. The art works submitted were of very high quality, making the selection by our experienced judges a challenging task.

The following 48 pieces were chosen from a total of 82 entries (Brush Painting 61, Calligraphy 21) submitted by 15 different Chinese Schools, arts studios, and individuals from 8 states (CA, CT, GA, MA, SC, TN, TX, WA ). The images of the 48 winners’ art works will be posted on our website around August 30, 2021. We have also listed the finalists. Their works were also excellent.

The names of the judges are listed at the end of this release. Judge Professor Waifong Loh 陸惠風 experienced discomfort shortly after the jury started. He went home to rest and is feeling much better now. His score sheets were not included in the calculation this year.

This competition is funded in part by: “The Tan Family Culture Fund” and donations from the general public. It will be repeated next year. The deadline for submission will be April 15, 2022, and the jury date will be Saturday, April 23, 2022.

Email: Foundation@ChinesePerformingArts.net.
